Kristin from Norway

Kristin from Norway celebrating Thanksgiving with her host family

Aspect Foundation’s inbox is flooded with notes from students expressing their gratitude for the experience they have had on student exchange. On Thursdays, we post one of these notes, sharing the “warm fuzzies” with all of you!

Today’s Thank You Thursday features Kristin from Norway, living in Washington, who is thanking her Coordinator, Host Family and High School.

Dear Jodi,

Thank you for everything you do for us! And thank you for choosing me, even though I am far up here in Everett. I know I can always talk to you about everything and I am really grateful for that. Thank you for all you do, even though it’s hard sometimes. I love you!

Dear host family,

Thank you so much for letting me live with you, be a part of the family, and letting me eat all of your food 🙂 I am grateful for everything and that you drive all over the place. I know it doesn’t seem like it all the time, but I have to be a moody teenager sometimes too 😉 I love you all.

To my high school,

Thanksgiving is coming up and I want you to know how grateful I am that Cascade let exchange students be involved in this school. Whenever I need help with something, I will get help from someone. My teachers are really nice and helpful. Thank you so much for making this year the best for me as an exchange student!
