Thank You Thursday – Annelle from Germany

Thank You Thursday is here! On this delightful day, we take pleasure in sharing heartwarming stories from our incredible students as they express their gratitude to their American host families, communities, and International Coordinators. Today, we are delighted to feature a beautiful letter written by Annelle from Germany, who spent her 2022/23 year in the charming city of St. George, Utah. Annelle attributes her wonderful experience to the kindness and support of her American host family and the warm embrace of the community. She wholeheartedly encourages future students to “Be open to everything! Say yes!”.

I’m so so thankful for the people I met. The people that made this year an amazing experience. The people that helped me when I had problems, answered all my questions and supported me in whatever I wanted to do.
