Thank you to all of our students who submitted entries in our 2023 IEW Scavenger Hunt! It was a VERY close competition, but what matters most is the international education you all helped spread and the passion you shared for cultural youth exchange. Well done! Below are the winners who went above and beyond during International Education Week!
During International Education Week, our winners met with politicians, set up potlucks for family and friends, gave presentations on their home countries, wrote impactful letters to numerous local papers, and made some very creative videos just to name a few. View below to see one of their entries!
First place and a $200 gift card goes to Saule from Lithuania, studying in Illinois with the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program sponsored by the Department of State. From meeting politicians to writing letters to newspapers, Saule had fun completing each task! Watch how she spends her day as an Aspect Student in America!
Second place and a $100 gift card goes to Giorgia from Italy, studying in Texas. She enjoyed organizing potlucks with other Aspect Students! Throughout the month, she loved completing tasks such as baking a traditional meal for her host family and posting about new experiences!
Third place and a $50 gift card goes to Syifa from Indonesia, studying in Nebraska with the Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program sponsored by the US Department of State. She celebrated International Education Week by presenting her home country. From filming sunrises and sunsets to writing letters, she had a blast during the IEW Scavenger Hunt!
