Hello, Aspect family and rest of the world! HQ checking in. Things here in San Francisco are humming along in 2014, with a super batch of students eager to run into the arms of their future host families this fall. But before they fill our airports and families’ hearts, we have plenty of stories to share and memories to make with our current adventurous students. We are jazzed that Anna and Martine from Norway and Laura from the Netherlands have all shared snippets of their experience with us so far this year. Keep checking the blog, Twitter and Facebook for more good reads. We’re going to keep ‘em coming!
We have some different faces in the San Francisco office recently, putting the “new” in New Year. Our lovely interns, Naomi and Melina, could already teach a Masters class on paperwork, and Jessie, our new Publicity Coordinator, spends most of her time being equally amazed at how incredible the Aspect family is, and how sunny it has been in San Francisco this winter.
We said farewell to our Student Services Coordinator, Ayanna, who is now off having adventures teaching English in Dubai. We welcomed a new family member, Rudy, to the office last week, an adorable puppy mix that our Operations Manager Eileen adopted from Taiwan earlier last year. Sylvia, our Admissions guru is biting into a camel burger as we speak in Morocco. Life is good, the world is beautiful, and we are so happy we can help families share their own corner of it through incredible exchange experiences!
We wish those in the polar vortex, warmth, and any Broncos fans out there our sincere sympathies. Have a great February, everyone! HQ, over and out.
