International Education Week Scavenger Hunt
November, 2015

It’s hunting time! Join Aspect Foundation’s IEW Scavenger Hunt and celebrate the upcoming 16th annual International Education Week (Nov 16 – 20).

International Education Week is an annual celebration put on by the U.S. Department of State and Department of Education that highlights the importance of international education and exchange. In today’s interconnected world, global competency is no longer just a nice thing to have; it is becoming increasingly important for success in the modern world.

As Aspect exchange students, you are shining examples of global citizens. Get involved in the IEW Scavenger Hunt this year and be ambassadors of international education while winning jaw-dropping prizes!

Grand Prize: Explore-America Trip to Hawaii (Trip fees and round-trip airfare included!)

Second Prize (2 Winners): $250 Gift Card

Third Prize (3 Winners): $100 Gift Card

Participating is simple:

  1. Download the IEW Scavenger Hunt Checklist.
  2. Complete as many items on the list as you can during the month of November!
  3. Be sure to follow the Submission Guidelines, and item-specific directions in red if applicable, to ensure your entry.

Each item counts as a number of entries, shown in brackets. At the end of the contest, winners will be drawn from the pool of entries.

This means that if you complete 1 item with (1) entry, you will have 1/(total number of entries) chance of winning. If you complete 5 items with (5) entries each, you will have 25/(total number of entries) chance of winning.

The Scavenger Hunt list includes a ton of fun activities for you to earn entries from while making the most of your American exchange year. Take photos, hop on Instagram, cook a meal, vlog…get creative! Happy Hunting!

Please feel free to email aspect@aspectfoundation.org if you have any questions.

*To be eligible for the Explore-America trip to Hawaii, student must be in good standing with Aspect Foundation, including C-average in all classes and all monthly reports submitted. Students must receive school and Regional Manager approval to miss school. Grand prize includes trip fees, and round-trip airfare. As there is a one-trip/semester regulation, if Grand Prize Winner has already purchased an Explore-America trip for spring 2015, he or she will be reimbursed for trip cost and airfare.
