Life Abroad / Thank You Thursdays

Thank You Thursday – May 5th, 2016

Olivia on her exchange trip in Norway.

Aspect Foundation’s inbox is flooded with notes from students expressing their gratitude for the experience they have had on student exchange. On Thursdays, we post one of these notes, sharing the “warm fuzzies” with all of you!

Today’s Thank You Thursday features Olivia from America, who thanks Aspect Foundation for her semester abroad in Norway.

It’s been about four months since I got home from Norway and I cannot believe how much I miss it! I just wanted to thank you all at Aspect again for all the help and guidance you provided to me and my parents before I went and while I was over there. I made such amazing friends. Three of my friends from Norway even came to visit me during spring break and we had such an amazing time. I’m also going back for almost a month this summer. Due to spending so much time learning about Norway and Norwegian culture I’ve decided to study International Studies in college. I’ll be in the 3 year Global Studies Program and have a Europe and Eurasia area focus.

I just wanted to thank you so much for making my trip to Norway such an amazing experience. I learned so much, not only about Norway, but who I am as a person and what I want my future to look like.

Thanks again and hope everything is going well with you!
