It’s Travel Tuesday, which means we feature our American students who have taken the leap of studying abroad! Learn more about our available programs including short-term, summer, semester, and academic year programs and apply today!
Today we’ll take a trip over the Pacific to check in on some of our American Aspect students spending an academic year or semester in Japan. Just like our students here in the United States, they are all living with caring host families and attending high school, having an immersive, challenging, and rewarding experience as a local Japanese student.
(Nina steps off the plane in Tokyo from Detroit to begin her exchange year!)
(Kade from Texas (center) and Lamia from North Carolina practice their Kanji at the Tokyo orientation camp)
(Emma from Maryland (front, center) enjoys a Japanese crepe with new friends at the Tokyo orientation)
(Nina, Kade, Emma, Lamia, and Rachel from Idaho making friends, practicing their conversation skills, and showing off their kanji at the Tokyo orientation)
(Kade representing his home state of Texas while exploring his new neighborhood)
(Looks like Nina is already fitting in with her new friends at school!)
(Aspect students and new friends ready to take on the world!)
Are you or someone you know interested in an exchange adventure? Applications are still open for our spring semester programs in Japan!
