Her heartfelt letter not only captures her gratitude, but also emphasizes how she truly became a cherished member of her American host family and community. Read more about her experience below!

I want to say thank you to my incredible host family for making me a member of their family, sharing all those adventures with me. I loved our can-am rides and our hikes as much as our card games.

I am so grateful for the amazing trips we did, starting off with NYC, I had never walked this much haha, but it was more than worth it. California with all the exchange students, we had such a great time together and last, but not least Hawaii. No words to describe how I feel about it. It was just AMAZING!!

You made me discover so many things and I could never express how grateful I am to have had you as my family. I also want to thank Richfield High School for welcoming me. I really felt like I belonged there. I loved being part of the cross country and track and field teams.

I also had a lot of fun being the team manager for the boys wrestling team. I really lived the American experience and I LOVED it. The football games, Prom, the sport teams, the school spirit… THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING !!!
