What motivated you to become an exchange student?
What motivated me to become an exchange student was my desire to live new experiences, step outside the comfort of my home, and learn a new language by interacting with people from a different culture and learning from them just as they learn from me.
Tell us about your life with your host family! What’s your favorite memory?
I have been extremely lucky to meet a wonderful family who, from the very first day, welcomed me as another member of the family. I love being with them and am developing a bond that will last a lifetime.

In a short time, I’ve created so many memories, but I will never forget one of our dinners together when I couldn’t stop laughing. The outings have also been really fun and full of new experiences for me, especially since holidays like Thanksgiving aren’t celebrated in my country. I’m having a great experience and so much fun!
What advice do you have for future exchange students?
Enjoy each day and try not to focus on how much you might miss your habits, family, and friends, because experiences like this only happen once, and before you know it, it’s over.
