International Education Week (Nov 14 – 18) is an annual celebration held by the U.S. Department of State and Department of Education that highlights the importance of international education and exchange. In today’s interconnected world, global competency is no longer just a nice thing to have; it is becoming increasingly important for success in the modern world.

As Aspect Foundation exchange students, you are shining examples of global citizens. Get involved in the IEW Scavenger Hunt this year and be ambassadors of international education while winning jaw-dropping prizes.

Participating is simple:

  1. Download the IEW Scavenger Hunt Checklist
  2. Complete as many items on the list as you can by Friday, December 2nd.
  3. Be sure to follow the submission guidelines, see our tips for shooting video with your smartphone, and have fun!

Each item counts for a number of points, shown in brackets, and each point counts as one entry. At the end of the contest, winners will be drawn from the pool of entries. This means that if you complete 1 item worth (1 pt), you will have 1 entry in the pool. If you complete 5 items worth (5 pts) each, you will have 25 entries in the pool.  The more points you get, the higher your chances of winning!

The Scavenger Hunt list includes a ton of fun activities for you to earn entries while making the most of your American exchange year. Take photos, hop on Instagram, cook a meal, vlog…get creative! Happy hunting!
