International Education Week Scavenger Hunt 2017
International Education Week begins next week (Monday 11/13) and that means
it’s time to join us on our IEW Scavenger Hunt to enter to win awesome prizes!
International Education Week (Nov 13 – 17) is an annual celebration held by the U.S. Department of State and Department of Education that highlights the importance of international education and exchange. In today’s interconnected world, global competency is no longer just a nice thing to have; it is becoming increasingly important for success in the modern world.
As Aspect Foundation exchange students, you are shining examples of global citizens. Get involved in the IEW Scavenger Hunt this year and be ambassadors of international education while winning jaw-dropping prizes.
Participating is simple:
- Download the IEW 2017 Scavenger Checklist.
- Complete as many items on the list as you can by Friday, December 15th.
- Be sure to follow the submission guidelines, see our tips for shooting video with your smartphone, and have fun!
Each item counts for a number of points, shown in brackets, and each point counts as one entry. At the end of the contest, winners will be drawn from the pool of entries. This means that if you complete 1 item worth (1 pt), you will have 1 entry in the pool. If you complete 5 items worth (5 pts) each, you will have 25 entries in the pool. The more points you get, the higher your chances of winning!
The Scavenger Hunt list includes a ton of fun activities for you to earn entries while making the most of your American exchange year. Take photos, hop on Instagram, cook a meal, vlog…get creative! Good luck and happy hunting!
Please feel free to email publicity@aspectfoundation.org if you have any questions.
*To be eligible for prizes, students must be in good standing with Aspect Foundation, including C-average in all classes and all monthly reports submitted.
