Anine from Norway on a trip to Hawaii.
Aspect Foundation’s inbox is flooded with notes from students expressing their gratitude for the experience they have had on student exchange. On Thursdays, we post one of these notes, sharing the “warm fuzzies” with all of you!
Today’s Thank You Thursday features Anine from Norway! She studied in Ohio a couple of years ago and wanted to express gratitude for her year in America.
I would like to thank everyone who made this year possible for me. This year has been one of the best so far, I’ve experienced so many things that I will never forget. I couldn’t have gotten a better host family, they opened their home for me without knowing much about being a host family, and they showed me love and support in everything I did.
They took me to new places and let me experience how Americans live and celebrate their holidays. I would also like to thank my school, for making my high school experience the best! I had very good teachers and I will always remember them for being so helpful. This is a year I will always look back on and smile.
Thank you for everything, I am grateful for every person who has either helped me or tried to get to know me. It’s hard making friends with people who you know are going to leave, but I am forever happy that these people did it anyways. Thank you, I loved living here with my host family!
