Thank You Thursday is here and this week we are featuring Cristina, who spent her 2022/23 year in Texas with the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program sponsored by the Department of State. From presenting during International Education Week to cheering on at football games, Cristina reflects on her unforgettable year and the strong bonds she has formed.

I am so very thankful to my host family for choosing me and for being the best American family I could have asked for. They made me feel like a part of the family since the very beginning and treated me like one of their own. They will always be my second family and I know this is a life-lasting bond. I am thankful to my friends for showing me all the fun parts of the American teenage life.
