After the overwhelming responses and the incredible warmth we received from our community, we’re thrilled to present you with another collection of heartwarming moments captured as our 2023/24 students arrived to meet their American host families. Davide from Italy hosted by the Lehnert family in Birchwood, Wisconsin. Davide says, “It’s my birthday and I get to come to America!”
Letizia from Italy and Lauryne from France with the Woodcock family in Versailles, Kentucky. Colleen, their host mom, says, “Hosting two and double the fun!”
Le Pu from the Netherlands meeting the Rice family in Baytown, Texas. Her host family created beautiful custom shirts to celebrate Le Pu’s arrival!
Giorgia from Italy meets the Overstreet family in McKinney, Texas! Giorgia says, “This is my lovely host family, you can see Greg, my host dad; Annie, my host mum; Kamryn, my little host sister and myself so tired after a long 5 hours flight. It was so nice to meet them and started to get to know them on the way back home.”
Yuka from Japan is greeted by her adorable host siblings in Magnolia, Texas! The Galena family says, “Welcome to Texas, Yuka!”
Elena from the Netherlands is thrilled to meet her host family, the Perkins, in Poulsbo, Washington! Her host sibling welcomed her with open arms and a giant sign.
Konstantinos from Greece is greeted by the Sacco-Westover family in Helper, Utah! Konstantinos says, “My host family is welcoming and supportive. We have a lot of fun together.”
